ABOUT US

We're a recreational summer swim team focused on building a love of swimming through hard work and fun. Swimmers of all levels are welcome to improve skills, confidence, and fitness while learning the four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Along the way, they’ll practice good sportsmanship, aim for personal bests, and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

At Chenoweth, summer swim is more than just a sport—it’s about making memories with friends and family, right in our backyard.

Williamson County Swim League (WCSL)
We’re part of the WCSL, a summer league of community and club teams from Williamson, Rutherford, and Maury counties. Weekly meets take place in June, ending with a County Championship at the Brentwood Indoor Sports Complex. The league encourages friendly competition, teamwork, and personal growth.

Participation
Swimmers should attend practice regularly and join as many meets as possible. To compete in the Championship, swimmers must participate in at least two dual meets.

Season & Practice
Our season runs from late May through June. Practices are weekday mornings for one hour (45 minutes for most 6 & unders), grouped by age and skill.

Swim Meets
Meets happen weekly and are fun, family-friendly events where swimmers compete, improve, and bond with teammates.

Volunteering
As a volunteer-run team, we rely on parent help to make everything run smoothly.
